“We are ecstatic that the Illinois Broadband Innovation Fund will allow the Six Mile Regional Library District to provide mobile computer training to those wanting to learn the why and how of safely becoming an online citizen,” said Tina Hubert, Executive Director of the Six Mile Regional Library District. “Topics for training classes include e-government, healthcare online, basic computer use, and job seeking.  We expect our program will impact a minimum of 300 people in the first year and countless others in successive years.  Not only will this program promote the importance of being connected via broadband, but also how libraries can help citizens participate in the online world.”
