About Us

The landscape of broadband in Western Illinois is extremely strong in some Western Illinois communities but falls desperately short in others. The greatest need for access is along the Mississippi River in Henderson and Hancock Counties.

Two broadband innovation fund projects have recently been funded for the region. These include innovative efforts around McDonough Telephone Cooperative and the fiber connection they are providing to the Western Illinois University farms and Wind Turbine facilities, as well as the development of an interactive portal for the City of Monmouth Museum.

The eTeam will be partnering with the Western Illinois Technical Services team for an agriculture summit in early 2013, as well as a business resources summit that spring.
