Broadband Communities Summit 2012 :: Dallas, Texas
The Partnership for a Connected Illinois presented the following fourteen maps in the Hall of States at the 2012 Broadband Communities Summit. Our mapping display showcased coverage and availability on a statewide and county level.
The three-day summit, hosted in Dallas, brought together key broadband leaders from across the nation to discuss the latest in surviving and thriving in a fiber-connected world.
A full day of the conference was dedicated to the Rural Telecommunications Congress, which works to ensure rural citizens have access to the technologies they need to survive. Attendees discovered how to best utilize the new state and national broadband maps to target network-building opportunities, promote broadband training and adoption, or apply for broadband grants.
