Free Microsoft Office Trainings

The Springfield Urban League provides free Internet access and training through the Community Technology Training Center (CTTC).  Courses currently offered as illustrated in the attached flyer are Word Basic including resume development, Excel Basic and how to develop an email account.  The Word and resume piece flow together in that attendees learn how to develop a document, move to resume development and then are able to send that resume after creating an email account.  The Excel course will help attendees track numbers for personal budgeting and tax purposes.  We also offer gcflearnfree.org which is an Internet based training tool that offers many types of self-paced training including courses in technology, reading, math, Microsoft Office, Work and Career, and Everyday Life.

Trainings are every Wednesday from 2:00- 4:00 p.m.

Come and develop your computer skills through the services provided at the Springfield Urban League’s the Community Technology Training Center.   The CTTC lab is also available for rent to organizations and businesses to conduct specialized training courses.  For additional information, please see the Urban League’s website at:http://www.springfieldul.org or feel free to contact Marlin Hollis at mhollis@springfieldul.org or by phone at 217.753.0830, ext. 1105.  We are located at 100 N.  11th Street, Springfield, Illinois.
