High Speed Internet (Broadband) Development Meeting

The University of Illinois Extension, Illinois Century Network and Broadband Illinois would like to invite you to an informational meeting. This gathering will be held at the Robinson Community Center, 300 South Lincoln Street on Tuesday, July 17th 6:30 pm.The meeting will give leaders, businesses, residents and internet providers a chance to network and discuss better high speed internet (broadband) for the Crawford County area. A specific project that will be discussed will be the Illinois Century Network’s Fiber Build Project specifically along IL Route 1 from Marshall to Lawrenceville and how the build will effect broadband service  in the county. All   internet providers servicing Crawford County will have a chance to speak about builds going on in their organization.  This informational meeting is open to all area non-profits, municipalities, schools,     medical clinics, businesses, internet providers, and the general public.High speed internet (broadband) is a must have utility in today’s 21st century communities. Please join us for this very important conversation.
