Rural Leaders Listening Post
Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon, Chair of the Governor’s Rural Affairs Council, will host a Rural Leaders Listening Post on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Railside Golf Club, Banquet Room at Gibson City.

The listening posts will provide an interactive format for rural elected officials, policymakers, and local leaders to share their insights with the Lieutenant Governor and members of the Governor’s Rural Affairs Council on issues facing rural Illinois. Information gathered at the listening posts will form the basis for a strategic agenda for rural Illinois, including specific policy recommendations and action items for the Governor’s Rural Affairs Council and its member agencies.
