Chicago Innovation Showcase
The Chicago Innovation Showcase is a conference where fundable companies connect with
capital sources and attendees connect with the entrepreneurial energy from the life sciences,
health IT and regulated technologies in the Chicago region. Come and meet hundreds of venture
capitalists, angel investors, business executives and entrepreneurs. Join us at the 2014 Chicago
Innovation Showcase, featuring presentations from many of the exciting complex technologies
that are being commercialized in the Chicago region. The day will include the PROPEL Business
Plan Competition Finals, fast-pitch presentations by local ventures, as well as an AdvaMed
CEO Unplugged session. The AdvaMed CEOs Unplugged session will discuss Deal Structures
in Med Tech, featuring VC investors and corporate leaders from Linden Capital Partners,
Luminex, Medtronic and New Enterprise Associates. The finalists of the PROPEL Business Plan
Competition are: DeNovX, Innoblative Designs, Orpheden Therapeutics, PixelEXX Systems, and
Sintact Medical. The fast-pitch venture presentations will include 15 ventures representing
Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago Innovation Mentors, Northern Illinois University,
Northwestern University, PROPEL, University of Chicago and University of Illinois at Chicago. Join
financial and strategic investors, corporate partners, entrepreneurs and the entire innovation
community at this exciting showcase event!
