Technology Innovation Summit

Overview:

Technology Innovation Summit (TIS) brings together Illinois government executives, technology vendors and technology thought leaders to discuss the IT needs and opportunities for municipal governments and the communities they serve. The goal of the conference is to improve the understanding, sourcing and use of information technology by local government. The summit is organized by Iyka Enterprises, Inc. in collaboration with Technology and community leaders of Chicago-land. The format is a mix of presentations, Q&A and panel discussions with additional time given for networking.

Speakers include government technology executives, corporate IT professionals and leading thinkers in innovation. For example, the 2 keynotes in 2012 were Toni Preckwinkle, President of the Cook County Board & Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Prime Minister, India - Public Information Infrastructure & Innovations. Government Technology heads like CIO of Cook County, CTO of RTA, CTO of CCHHS, Motorola, Accenture, Illinois Institute of Tech and more.

TIS-2013’s keynote speaker is Dr. Ram Raju, CEO of Cook County Health and Hospital Systems.
