Digital Advocacy Webinar Series: Rural Connectivity in the Digital Age

Technology and social media have become increasingly important to rural advocacy campaigns, and rural organizations need resources to learn about, experiment with, and apply the latest digital tools to help advance their policy work. The Rural Digital Advocacy Grants program seeks to increase rural advocates' access to and use of digital tools to strengthen their policy-change campaigns and capacities.

In this RuralXChange webinar series, Digital Advocacy grantees will speak about their experiences implementing their project and give advice for organizations or individuals attempting similar efforts.

Featured panelists for this first webinar include:

Wally Bowen, Exec. Dir., Mountain Area Information Network
Drew Clark, Exec. Dir, Broadband Illinois

The Rural Digital Advocacy Grants Program is sponsored by the Rural Policy Action Partnership (RPAP) a collaboration of rural advocates and public policy institutions including the Center for Rural Strategies, Network Impact, the Institute for Emerging Issues, and MDC. RPAP received support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation to carry out a strategic and integrated policy initiative on behalf of vulnerable children and their families and communities in rural America.  For more information, visit www.emergingissues.org.
